A sole proprietorship built on over 20 years of practical experience in a wide array of industries from manufacturing, mechanical, structural & architectural. Our roots have their start in the railcar engineering industry in the Pictou County area of Nova Scotia. From there it has branched out into other disciplines. Working for a number of well-known employers and clients, it has now evolved into a unique expertise consulting business.
We have worked in a number of areas including railcars, large scale forging drawings, electrical drafting, tensioned membrane fabric structures, rebar design to mention a few. In addition to design and drafting service, we have also worked in the areas of education, technical support, and implementation of Autodesk’s mechanical software such as Inventor.
We have seen how large companies struggle to move forward with new technologies. Being stuck in the past and saying ‘this is just how we do it.’ We have also seen small companies attempting to grow, but be stifled by limited budgets. It has always been our goal to help others to progress into the future of design.
